'Highland Fling' Hotel Bedroom Redesign
A previously neutral hotel bedroom was transformed into a dramatic, character-led retreat designed to create a memorable guest experience. Rich crimson tones and stag-inspired statement wallpaper establish a distinctive Highland identity, complemented by dark carved furniture, a freestanding mirror and traditional detailing. Deep red leather Chesterfield seating adds warmth and heritage character, while layered textiles and carefully chosen accents give the room a sense of theatre and individuality - turning an understated bedroom into a destination space with a strong sense of place.
Conservatory Transformation
Before a formal conservatory dining space, reimagined as a light-filled garden room with a softer, more natural character.
A fresh colour palette, botanical planting, decorative greenery and relaxed country-style furnishings transformed the room into a welcoming, versatile interior that retains its dining function while also adapting for use as an intimate wedding ceremony setting.
Bridal Suite Redesign
A previously understated bridal suite was transformed into a romantic, characterful interior with a greater sense of occasion. Ornate furnishings, period-inspired pattern, warm gold tones and layered textiles were introduced to create a more luxurious and memorable setting, while retaining the room’s original architectural character.
Heritage Guest Lounge Transformation
An underutilised seating area was transformed into a characterful guest lounge centred around the room’s original stone fireplace. Rather than competing with the building’s historic features, the new scheme was designed to celebrate them, introducing rich leather Chesterfield seating, traditional furnishings and warmer, more considered decorative details. The layout was reworked to create a sociable gathering space around the fire, resulting in an inviting hospitality setting that feels both established and distinctive while remaining sympathetic to the building’s original character.

A bright but understated guest bedroom was transformed into a sophisticated, luxurious retreat with a stronger sense of identity.
A layered palette of silver-grey, charcoal and soft blush was combined with damask pattern, an upholstered statement bed, elegant drapery and classic furnishings to create a richer, more memorable guest experience while retaining the room’s light and spacious character.
Country Hospitality Lounge Transformation
A traditional hospitality lounge area was reimagined as a warm, characterful space inspired by its rural surroundings.
Rather than altering the existing architecture, original stonework, exposed beams and flooring were retained and used as the foundation for the new scheme. Warmer tones, natural materials, layered greenery and more relaxed furnishings transformed the space into an inviting communal setting while preserving the building’s established character.
Double Bedroom Makeover
The brief for this compact double bedroom was to create a lighter, more welcoming and feminine interior while working within the constraints of a relatively small footprint. Rather than overcrowding the room, a restrained palette of warm ivory, soft green and muted gold was introduced, alongside elegant period-inspired furniture and vertical striped wallpaper to give the space a greater sense of height. A statement bed creates a clear focal point, while lighter finishes and carefully scaled furnishings allow the room to feel more luxurious without sacrificing practicality or valuable floor space.
Fine Dining Restaurant Transformation
A traditional dining room was transformed into a richer, more atmospheric fine dining setting, drawing upon the building’s historic character while working within practical budget constraints. The original timber floor was sanded back, restained and varnished, while existing dining chairs were retained and incorporated into the new scheme. Deeper heritage tones, traditional detailing and carefully considered decorative accents created a more sophisticated sense of occasion, demonstrating how existing features can be reworked rather than replaced to achieve a substantial transformation.
