Interiors Rooted in Time & Place

At Fullilove Interiors, we believe the most memorable interiors are those that belong to their surroundings.

Our approach begins with the character of the property itself - its history, architecture and setting - and builds from there. Rather than imposing passing trends, we create interiors that feel as though they have evolved naturally over time, while meeting the practical demands of modern life.

Meet the Founder

Fullilove Interiors was founded from a love of historic buildings, period design and the belief that character should be preserved rather than designed out.

With a background in history and hands-on experience transforming hospitality interiors, founder Lydia Fullilove brings together historical research, interior design, furniture restoration and practical knowledge of the demands placed upon guest accommodation.

The result is an approach that looks back in time for inspiration without creating interiors that feel like museums: spaces should be atmospheric and distinctive, but also comfortable, functional and commercially effective.

01 — Respect the Architecture

Every project begins with what is already there. Period features, proportions, materials, local history and setting inform the direction rather than being treated as obstacles to modernisation.

02 — Create Character

We reject formulaic interiors in favour of spaces with identity - using colour, pattern, antiques, restored furniture and carefully sourced pieces to create rooms guests remember.

03 — Design for Real Life

Historical inspiration should never come at the expense of function. Layout, durability, maintenance, guest experience and the commercial requirements of hospitality properties remain central to every design.
